About

The Texas Youth Academy exists to deepen discipleship through theological education, spiritual formation, and Christian community.

This year TYA will be June 15-27

The Texas Youth Academy is a is a two week summer experience for selected high school students who are currently in 10th-12th grades to live in an intentional Christian community on a college campus in Texas.  They participate in an intensive encounter with Christian life that will leave them confident that God is shaping their future in radical and exciting ways.

Days are patterned by worship, Scripture, study, small groups, service projects, art, and Communion.  They will learn about the Christian faith from adult mentors and faculty members from various seminaries.  They will practice this faith with other youth from across the state.  They will be challenged in new ways to follow Jesus on the journey to Christian living.
